Cashmere von Calau is a stunning 3-4 year old German Shepherd. This darling girl with the beautiful amber eyes has already come so far.  When she first arrived at the rescue, she was not prepared for city life.  Once jumpy on her walks, Cashmere now walks up and down the blocks like a dream.  She often looks back just to make sure you are all headed in the right direction and she loves being told what a good girl she is.  Now out of her shell, Cashmere shines.  She has a nice medium-energy level, perfect to go on adventures but also to settle in for cuddles afterwards.  Cashmere is very people-oriented, liking to hang out with her people and get pats on the chest (her favorite!).  Around other dogs, Cashmere shows the best manners when meeting.  She prefers the company of dogs with her same laid-back demeanor and she will scold hyper or pushy types when they are being rude.  Cashmere is looking for a home that will continue to encourage her social, as well as her cuddly, side.  Be it hanging out with friends or hanging out in the yard, Cashmere is one to always keep at your side.
